Contestant 14 In terms of award wins, Marianna Prjevalskaya from Spain has received praise of Steven Spielberg proportions.

Her awards include 1st prize and a Gold Medal at 2011 Jaen International Piano Competition, 1st prize and a Special Prize for the best performance of Baroque/Classical composition at 2010 Albacete National Piano Competition, 1st prize at 2009 Jose Roca International Piano Competition, 1st Prize at Gold Chappell Medal Piano Competition, 1st Prize at 2003 Dudley International Piano Competition and 1st Prize at Marisa Montiel Piano Competition, just to mention a few.

Marianna has appeared at an enormous amount of festivals and prestigious venues including the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Festival Russo in Rome, Bologna Festival (Italy), Norwich and Norfolk Festival (UK), Steinway Hall, Weill Recital Hall and Yamaha Artists Services Piano Salon in New York.

She studied with Boris Berman, Alexander Toradze, Irina Zaritskaya, Kevin Kenner and Tatiana Prjevalskaya. Marianna holds Artist Diplomas from Yale School of Music and Indiana University, Master of Music from Yale School of Music and Bachelor of Music from Royal College of London.
