Being the sole contender from Chopin’s home country, 20 year old Szymon Nehring is given the heavy task of bringing the Top of the World trophy to Poland.
Szymon Nehring was born in Krakow, and started his piano education at the age of 5. For 11 years he was a student at the Chopin Memorial Musical College in Krakow, being moulded into a master pianist by Prof. Olga Lazarska. Since September 2013, he has been studying at the Music Academy in Bydgoszcz, in Prof. Stefan Wojtas’ class.
Szymon Nehring regularly participates in music festivals and competitions.
